The Campside

Our small campsite is situated directly by Lake Tyngsjö, surrounded by the endless nature.

There are fourteen spacious pitches, eight of them with electrical connection (number 7-11 and 13-15). In the simple service building you will find toilets, wash basins, showers with hot water and the possibility to wash your dishes.

A washing machine and a dryer are located up in the cottage village, which can be reached by a small footpath.
On the campsite there is a large fireplace directly at the lake, which is exclusively available to our guests. If the wind is a bit fresher or if there is rain you don’t have to miss the barbecue, because directly at the lake there is a shelter with a fireplace where you can enjoy the unique atmosphere of nature from the dry. You can buy wood for the fireplaces from us.

In the sauna directly by the lake Tyngsjö you can relax wonderfully or warm up after a cold winter excursion.

In our kiosk you can order fresh bread for breakfast, buy small snacks and drinks, postcards, stamps and fishing licenses for about 200 nearby lakes. You can also get all the information you need for your summer or winter outdoor activities, such as the rental conditions of our canoes, kayaks, rowing boats or the dog sledding and cross-country skiing tours in winter.

On all weekdays until 16.00 o’clock we take your order for our food delivery service for the following day.

As our camping guest you can enjoy a drink and something sweet in our “Vildmarks Café”, which is located in our cottage village. You can enjoy an ice cream, read or play parlour games.

Dogs:

Dogs are very welcome in our area. Please keep your dog on a leash on the whole area of Tyngsjö Vildmark and dispose of its remains. In addition, we ask you to observe the leash requirement that applies in Sweden from March 1 to August 20.

Please note that pitches 7-11 and 13-15 have electricity, pitches 1-5 and 12 do not!
